Protirelin
TRH (thyrotropin-releasing hormone) analog for thyroid stimulation and arousal. Stimulates TSH and prolactin release, with potential neuroprotective and cognitive-enhancing properties.
Protirelin, also known as Thyrotropin-Releasing Hormone (TRH) or Thyroliberin, is a naturally occurring tripeptide hormone produced by the hypothalamus. As one of the smallest peptide hormones in the human body, it consists of only three amino acids (pyroglutamyl-histidyl-prolinamide) and serves as the master regulator of the hypothalamic-pituitary-thyroid (HPT) axis.
